“How the hell do I know why there were Nazis? I don’t know how the can opener works!” – “Hannah and her sisters”, (1986 film), written and directed by: Woody Allen

Chemical Brothers, “Hey girl, hey boy” 1999

The bands name is “Scarling”. There are a lot of songs that deal with this issue, but very few have the same raw and realistic tone that “Alexander The Burn Victim” has. The lyrics are written by Jessica Addams, the lead singer and song-writer of the band.

This is a clip from the comedy “Bedazzled” (1967). It shows the first Pop star desperately demanding love and the second one being more distant. Great parody!:

I’ve just recently saw this video and thought it was unsually smart and well done. I’m pretty fond of Courtney love’s music. This song is okey, but the video reminded me of the tradition of doing feministic re-telling of old fairy tales. I also thought that Love was trying to empower the image of little girls.

What do you guys think, is this video feministic or just  suprisingly sympathetic to women/girls?
