The have been some intelligent, and controversial parodies of Snow White, including “Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs” (now considered highly racist), and a parody of Snow White at the opening of the 1989 Academy Awards with Rob Lowe doing “Proud Mary” playing a raunchy Snow White was Eileen Bowman (Disney sued the Academy Awards for this “outrage”, but settled with a apology instead).
Here’s my favorite from Carol Burnett Show- “Snow White: 15 years later”. As it says in the beginning of the sketch “And They Lived Happily Ever After………Wanna Bet!”
