Ha, ha det är verkligen så kul! 🙂
Fits in nicely with how Timothy Geithner (secretary of the treasury in the US) is captive to the financial industry of the US (his connections to Goldman Sachs which received a truckload of tax payer money when the last collapsed happened due to their and AIG’s incompetence). And now the BP oil “gush” (not merely a “spill”) with some of the governors and senators of the gulf coastal states in the US in the pocket of big oil saying the gush is really no problem (Mississippi, Republican Gov. Haley Barbour, as one example saying not only is it no problem and is like being covered with toothpaste at the worst, but, also, noting that the news media covering the spill is actually the culprit for all of the “misplaced” worry about that “little bit of oil in that big ocean”).
These are the Politicians doing what they are told (by those holding the money bags) in the absurd fashion of the Mayor of Halloween town!
And as an after note to this humorous quote as well— the Mentor of Geithner (and now the second in charge of the Treasury Dept. of the Us) is Larry Summers. The Towering Intellect (yes, people do call him that) who thought polluting Africa was a good idea for our Western economies and who insisted while he was dean of Harvard (wow, wondering about this!) that there are less women in math and sciences because they are not as smart as men in these ways!!
Believe it or not— These guys, like our mayor of HT, are running the world?
My goodness! Sometimes I wonder how much thought is put into chosing politicians and giving them positions… At times it seems like none! Scary how realistic fictional, buffoon-like characters can be.
